Week 38

 

Hi Team,

It’s that time of year again! As we prepare for our 2023 benefits, we would like to encourage all team members to participate in biometric screening to continue to living a healthy lifestyle.

Beginning the end of this month, representatives from Prevea will come on-site to do the biometric screening for all Muth employees.  This will consist of the following: Cholesterol screen, (finger stick), blood pressure, height, weight, % body fat and BMI measurements.  This will be offered to all employees whether you enroll in Muth’s 2023 benefit plan or not at no cost to you.  We are also offering this service to spouses of those that will be on the employees’ 2023 health plan at no cost.  Spouses are not required to participate, but are encouraged to take part for their own well-being to identify health risk factors.

Participation is voluntary, however your decision to participate will have an impact on your 2023 health insurance premiums.  Those who simply participate, will receive a discounted rate on their premiums.

If you do elect to participate in the biometric screening, your health insurance premiums will be decreased by $100 each month.  When you do your biometric screening, you will be asked if you use nicotine.  Health insurance premiums will be decreased by $50 each month if you do not use any type of nicotine. 

Biometric Screening will take place on the following dates:

 

·           Thursday, September 29, 1:00 - 5:00pm (2 coaches)

·           Tuesday, October 4, 6:00 - 10:40am (3 coaches)

·           Wednesday, October 5, 6:00 - 10:40am (3 coaches)

·           Thursday, October 6, 6:00 - 10:40am (3 coaches)

 

For 3^rd shift:

·           Thursday, September 29, 8:00pm - 12:00am. (2 coaches)

 

Sign-up sheets are located outside of the engineering/program mgt. office.  Please sign up no later than Monday, September 19^th.  If your spouse would like to participate, they must be added to the sign-up sheet as well.

Quality Updates:

P2629 – We continue to have a 3^rd party sorting company at Penstone in Japan sorting for the missing FSA on parts.

There have been no NEW customer complaints for the past week.

 

P2628 – Nonconforming Parts returned as Line accums from MMSC – Parts were displayed on a board at the Quality Workstation and we requested for production team members’ feedback.

Review of the feedback will be communicated to the Production Teams in the upcoming days.  Thanks in advance to those folks who took time to examine the Display Board and complete the questionnaire!
