TISAX – Information Security updates:
Working from Home or Out of Office Policy
Work
Hours
Our
normal daily work hours are flexible and are generally determined based on
department needs with supervisor approval. Employees are expected to be
on-site at work during their normal hours Monday- Friday unless the work
assignment takes them out of the office.
Working
from Home
An
employee may occasionally request to work from home due to unexpected
situations or unforeseen weather conditions. In these circumstances, an
employee wishing to work from home must follow these guidelines:
· Working from home
must be approved in advance by the department manager. As approval of
work from home will be based on internal and external customer
requirements--not all departments may be able to accommodate all requests.
· When working from
home, an employee must be available by phone or e-mail if customers or other
employees have questions.
· When working from
home, it must be noted on the Muth calendar. If work hours will be
adjusted, please note the hours on the Muth company calendar as well.
· Generally, employees will
be expected to adhere to the same normal work hours when working from home.
· Working from home or
public places must be handled with the highest of security. When handling asset
both electronic and paper forms, consider the protection needs and ensure items
will not fall in the wrong hands – do not leave unattended. Including potential
risk of overhearing and viewing of confidential information.
· Working out of the office
the company VPN site must be used unless special authorization has been
provided. When using laptop and cell phone do not connect to open WIFI
networks. Use cellular data when secure networks are not available.
· Always be aware of your
surroundings- ensure all data remains private.
· If traveling outside the
US and using company cell phone and computer, whether it be personal, or
business notify IT department at least 7 days prior to departure.
This
will be posted by the end of the month in several location throughout the
company.
